Our History
CNY Appaloosa proudly launched the inaugural Big Apple Shoot Out in 2016 at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds in Schaghticoke, NY, and has since expanded to the New York State Fairgrounds! This vibrant event is organized by a dedicated team of volunteers committed to creating a fun-filled, family-oriented ApHC and All Breed horse show experience.

CNY Appaloosa aims to make the Big Apple Shoot Out accessible and enjoyable for all exhibitors, from youth to professionals. We are committed to giving back to participants through prizes, giveaways, and high-point awards across all divisions.

Our Passions
Our passion lies in reviving ApHC horse shows in Central New York! There’s a strong demand for competitive yet enjoyable horse shows that create a relaxed atmosphere for everyone involved. We work tirelessly to ensure a low-stress environment where all exhibitors feel welcome. With ApHC and All Breed classes, we encourage participants from all backgrounds to join us!
